For many years my wife Naomi and I did Gospel concerts all around New England and God opened doors to minister all over the USA, Canada, and some in Europe.
Our ministry took a different direction. We did fewer concerts as the Lord led us in other ministry areas. After Naomi went home to be with her Lord in October 2007, I started attending a new church in Derry, New Hampshire. Lifeway Church is a growing church with many ministry outreaches. Pastor Juan Saa is an incredible musician with a heart for God. He challenged me to start doing some Gospel concerts again and I thought he was just a bit "crazy." Juan set up a concert at Lifeway Church, and I went to work. After that, God has kept opening new doors for more of what has become "Celebrate Hope" concerts. Every concert includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and also reaches out to believers who are hurting and facing problems and issues that are stealing their joy and their hope. Each concert is a combination of old and new songs. We are praying to be used of the Lord to minister grace and encouragement to those who come.
We look forward to seeing what new doors God is going to open in the days ahead. We have always loved to minister in music. We are blessed to see people touched as we share how the Lord has brought us through some difficult challenges, especially over the past few years. Doing these concerts is a real source of healing in our own lives as we receive from Him far more then we give.
